We stopped here as one of our first Mexican restaurant stops on a four month trip from north Idaho. I am Mexican descent and I know authentic from canned. I can confidently state Janitzio is very authentic. The flavors burst in my mouth and remind me of my mom and grandma cooking. I had the janitzio plate and wow what tastiness. My wife loves her enchiladas and she said these were some of the best. Nico, one of the owner managers was awesome. The place was busy but he came and made out margaritas for us. I was very impressed with the efficiency of the crew and the added touches to each plate.

Finally, a great Mexican restaurant we can sink our teeth into. Substantial. Tasty. Complimentary salsa (with a bite!), refried beans & chips. Tacos Al Carbon! Enchiladas Suizas! Fast, friendly service! And amazing Spanish rice I can eat as a meal. The menu is huge. American food & plenty of healthy options.

Our first time in and it won't be the last. Wide variety on the menu, even the kids section was pretty good! Delicious food, some of the best guacamole I've had locally, the portion sizes were generous and the service was honestly top notch. We never wanted for anything, refills appeared practically before we realized we were low. Wonderful!

Growing up with a lot of great Mexican food restaurants in my home area always has me skeptical when I try a new place. Janitzio has my vote for best authentic Mexican food in town. It has a wonderful atmosphere, great for families. Great food is so important because it feeds your soul, brings you great memories (like moms cooking), nutritious, and down right can make you fat and happy after a meal. This place does it for me, reminds me of my home area and is an excellent choice for those wanting something great to eat.

Stopped in on road trip through Idaho and was very happy we did.
If I lived here this would be my go to restaurant.

WOW! This place was great! So generous with everything. Finally got a salsa that got a nice little kick. Food looked and tasted awesome.. also service was very good.

Absolutely delicious food. Proves we're reasonable. It was almost fully packed when we went about 2:00 so I would say it is a local favorite place. Would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed the food here. The guacamole is so good. We all had different items and they all tasted amazing. Chimichangas were nice crispy, the rice and beans were great, shrimp enchilada and chili relleno were yummy and the chips and salsa were fantastic. Our service was good and fast and the restaurant was very clean. We would go back over and over if we were closer.

I absolutely love Janitzio's food! They have authentic and flavorful, just simply good food. I love their fajitas- can never go wrong there- but the Janitzios plate is my favorite! This is one of my favorite places to take friends from out of town!

Janitzio restaurant was by far the best Mexican place we've eaten... Including my kitchen. It's authentic flavor was incredible and the staff was friendly. I'm from Michoacan, MX and I felt like I was eating at my mom's place. Highly recommend it!

The food here is absolutely amazing. From the complimentary chips and salsa to the Mexican pizza and the shredded beef tacos and the amazing service this is definitely a good find in twin falls.
